Broadway Federal Bank was established in 1947. Broadway was established to address the struggles minorities faced in

Are there limitations on deposits?
The only deposit limitations would apply to Certificates of Deposit. All other types of accounts allow unlimited deposit frequency and amounts.
How can I make deposits?
We offer several convenient and safe ways to make deposits. Deposits can be made at:
- Any Broadway Federal branch location
- Broadway Federal ATMs
- Direct deposit (ACH credits or debits)
- Mail
- Phone transfers through Goldphone (1.323.935.2288)
- Transfers between Broadway Federal accounts through online banking
Are there limitations on withdrawals?
Withdrawal limitations apply to Certificates of Deposits only. Withdrawals can be made, however an early withdrawal penalty
may be assessed.
How can I make a withdrawal?
All Checking and Savings accounts (excluding Certificates of Deposit) will have an ATM card. Withdrawals can be easily
and conveniently made at:
- Any Broadway Federal branch location
- Broadway Federal ATMs
- ATMs with a MoneyPass symbol (locate a "surcharge free" ATM on our home web page)
- ATMs with a VISA, CIRRUS, or STAR symbol. (May not be "surcharge free")
- Mail
- Phone transfers through Goldphone at (1.323.935.2288)
How do I make a withdrawal from my Certificate of Deposit?
An early withdrawal penalty may be assessed. All Certificate of Deposit withdrawals must be made in person or by mail or fax
so we may verify your identity.
Who can open an account online?
Individuals, 18 years of age or older. Presently, other types of ownership such as, corporations, partnerships, organizations, trusts and/or businesses cannot open an account online. However, we will be more than happy to assist them in person or by phone. Are you using a credit bureau or third party verification company prior to opening my account?
Currently, we do not run a credit report, but we do use ChexSystems, a third party verification company.
Are my online accounts insured?
Yes. All of Broadway Federal’s bank accounts are insured by FDIC for $250,000.
Additional FDIC insurance may be obtained based on account vesting (ownership).
Will I receive a bank statement?
Yes. All online bank accounts receive monthly statements.

How long does it take to complete a new account application online?
The application process should take less than 10 minutes. Please have your driver’s license and social security
number available.
Once I submit an application, how long will it take to open my account?
We begin processing all new account applications by the next business day after you submit it online. Within 2 days of our
receipt of your application, a confirmation email will be sent to you. Within 10 business days, we will mail you an Online Banking packet with account disclosures and a signature card. Once funds are received, your account will be "opened" and an account number generated. A receipt of your initial deposit (opening date) will be mailed to you.
Can I view my account online?
Once your account is opened and you’ve received your account number, you can sign up for online banking to view all activity
on your account or use bill pay.
How do I sign up for Online Banking?
